Ingredients for Sambal:
  1. 5 pieces of fresh red chili (optional)
  2. terasi shrimp (shirimp paste) to taste 
  3. red onion 1 vertebra
  4. hazelnut
  5. bay leaves 1 sheet
  6. garam 1 / 2 teaspoon
  7. penyedap (optional) 1 / 2 teaspoon Red
  8. Brown sugar 1 vertebra thumb 

How to cook Sambal:
  1. Goreng red peppers, tomatoes, shrimp paste, hazelnut, and onion with a little oil
  2. chili puree, tomato paste, nutmeg and onion
  3. add salt, flavoring and sugar and puree
  4. once again and enter a delicate sauteed bay leaves sauce ready to eat 
Sambal is a chili based sauce which is normally used as a condiment.
